WSOP Online Bracelet Series at GGPoker

The World Series of Poker (WSOP) Online Bracelet Series at GGPoker will kick off a few days from now. For the first time ever, non players will get the chance to compete for the highly coveted gold bracelet, in addition to record-breaking guarantees and prize money. The mega festival runs from 19 July to 6 September, featuring a total of 54 events!

Have you already made your own schedule? Are you still in the process of choosing what tournament suits your bankroll best? We’re here to guide you! Check out our selection of events below, categorised according to your potential needs and preferences.

When taking part in a tournament, the first factor to consider is your money. Do you have enough funds to compete in the events you love? Or are you still starting to build your bankroll? If you’re the latter, it’s best to choose an event that doesn’t require you to spend a large amount of money.

Although the main highlight of the WSOP is usually the large buy-in events, the upcoming Online Series at GGPoker actually offers affordable events that still carry a decent guarantee. Among them is Event #1: The Opener (19th July) which features an entry fee of $100 and a $2 million guarantee. Event #53: WSOP MILLION$ (6 September) also has a $100 buy-in, with $2 million in prize money on offer.

If you want to go lower than that, there is Event #40: BIG 50 (23 August), the lowest buy-in event on the schedule, but still comes with a huge $1 million guarantee.

The upcoming series features a whopping $60 million in guaranteed prize pools, most of that going to the five biggest guaranteed events on the schedule. The first is the $5,000 buy-in WSOP Online Main Event (30 August) which boasts $25 million in prize money, the largest guaranteed single tournament in online poker history.

The No-Limit Hold’em Poker Players Championship is also an event not to be missed for those on the hunt for massive prizes. The $25,000 buy-in event takes place on 23 August and features a $10 million guarantee. Three other events will award $5 million each to the top winners – Event #32: $500 buy-in Mini Main Event (16 August); Event #17: $1,500 buy-in MILLIONAIRE MAKER (2 August); and Event #52: $10,000 buy-in WSOP Super MILLION$ (6 September).

The festival schedule consists mostly of No-Limit Hold’em events, but there are a few other variants that make an appearance as well. If you’re a fan of Pot-Limit Omaha, there’s a PLO Championship event that requires $5,000 to enter. You can also take part in “PLOSSUS”, which features a $400 buy-in and a massive $1 million guarantee. Both events take place on 21 and 26 July, respectively.

There is also something on offer for Short Deck fans. The $10K buy-in Short Deck Championship takes place on 28 July, followed by the $1,000 buy-in Short Deck event on 2 August.

Asia-based players no longer have to force themselves to stay up late at night to compete, as the WSOP has set up 10 events designed to take place at hours convenient for those playing in Asian countries. What’s even more exciting is that GGPoker will also be running special leaderboards for these tournaments, with extra prizes up for grabs for the top winners.

Asian Time Zone events include the $600 buy-in Monster Stack (25 July), $8,000 buy-in HK NLH Asia Championship (9 August), $500 buy-in Deepstack (1 & 22 August), $1,000 buy-in Short Deck NLH (2 August), and $1,500 buy-in Marathon NLH (23 August).

Important Events You Should Include In Your Schedule

These four events should be part of your schedule if you’re after a decent prize pool: $400 buy-in COLOSSUSS (26 July), $1,500 buy-in MILLIONAIRE MAKER (2 August), People’s Choice Event (1 September), and the $500 buy-in Mini Main Event (16 August).
