What will the second half of this year’s gamer season bring us? Let’s try to see if we can expect any dramatic changes in the line-ups of the teams or if the game will again be the same not so hot. BLAST Fall Groups tournaments are gaining popularity, but community pundits keep talking about their imperfection. It’s all there: wins, losses, surprises and disappointments.
The HLTV rankings have been updated, and what do we see? According to the latest data nitr0 and the gamers of the collective have made it to the top 4, but unfortunately this is not quite a true level yet. Some time ago there was a discussion that BLAST might see the first noticeable changes and a new stage of Liquid is coming after adreN took over as mentor. It’s been 6 months now and it’s worth noting that shox is not one of the best transfers for the organisation in that discipline in the past 2 years. It is naive to believe that the most important thing lies in the Frenchman’s statistical performance: the roughness of absolutely the whole system was battered by the results of at least 2 gamers of the team. In the spring at Liquid, Ricciard didn’t play too well because of his poor play, but he took on the role of an active main-card snapper. After that all team members started to give up: adreN started setting up other gamers to try their best to cover the flaws of shox’s game while not demanding the impossible from him. Thus, oSee had to greatly reduce the number of rounds with AWP, turning into an analogue of es3tag and broky, but despite this had to accept the new requirements. Let’s compare the average number of sniper kills per round on IEM Dallas(at adreN) and the fresh BLAST Fall(at daps). It should be said that the main players in the first line of attack in the form of EliGE/nitr0 practically did not suffer, except for some combinations, where the first was left in an open duel without support, and the second acted as a second aggressive sapport. After that, NAF remained unstoppable, but that’s for the best. The main characters remained constant despite the challenging times. Now it’s time to assess the changes with the arrival of YEKINDAR. As a result, there has been no change in the roles. Because this player has a similar role in the team and he plays it well. As previously stated, the position of pure sniper oSee shows unique elements of microplay. In addition, on Vertigo, NAF is the most productive player on the pro scene and on the strength is not inferior to ropz. But apparently this is what prevents the gamer from reaching his full potential. But let’s not rush to summarize the results, because 7 days ago all the praise went to Vitality for the transfer of Spinx and we could see that all the players in the team in their places.
The stats here can not even be taken into account. Six months have passed and this player is already a solid gamer at the level of dash -1. It’s worth saying that on a collective level, G2 has lost some points on stats and hasn’t been able to fully assimilate into the team. From game to game it becomes more and more interesting to watch the Russian as he becomes the best gamer of the tournament and the team.
Can this be seen as a disadvantage if the player interviews quite vigorously and the team is a finalist. The first sniper on the team is mantuu, but already 3 years ago there were rumors that the team will lose AWP. As of today, the story is beginning to pick up again and the only difference is the figure and essence of the sniper himself. The remarkable thing is that this circumstance has no effect on the team’s utility and the degster is performing well in it. There are two versions of plans within the squad: the obvious and the unobvious. In the first one, the degster broadcasts the former plans and tries to adjust attacks or defences. In the second, the degster aggressively wagers close encounters. It must be said that both options are a breath of fresh air, regardless of how the story turns out the team lays hopes on this player and gives him a huge part of the map under control.
